Reloading Office 2000

Apparently, I got shorted. My Office 2000 is on one CD only. The case for
that CD has the product key. Know it works as I recently installed in XP.

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem but I spoke with Microsoft
yesterday and they had me to open up the control panel and check the programs
on the ADD/REMOVE programs. There was a duplicate copy of Word listed there
so they had me to remove the duplicate. Once I removed that "extra" copy of
Word things were fine. Make sure you don't have 2 copies of the same thing.

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem but I spoke with Microsoft
yesterday and they had me to open up the control panel and check the programs
on the ADD/REMOVE programs. There was a duplicate copy of Word listed there
so they had me to remove the duplicate. Once I removed that "extra" copy of
Word things were fine. Make sure you don't have 2 copies of the same thing.

I should add that the precise software in question in MS Office2000Pro, SR-1
on two CDs if that makes any difference and, even the first time, I never
could get the second CD to load. At the time, it didn't contain anything I
especially wanted or needed and I let it go rather than worrying about it.
