Remaing Work - Inactive Resource

I went into the project plan and zeroed out an inactive
resources rem work. Close out of project and exit, come
all the way back in and it says the inactive resource
still has hours assigned to them. I go in and the resource
has 0 hours. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this? I
am going to need to do this to all the resources we just
eliminated.

Donald:

Open the project and select the task in question. Click on Collaborate >
Republish and republish the selected task. Setting the remaining work to
zero in Project, doesn't automatically set it to zero in the Project Web
Access, so republishing to establish the new value is necessary to synch
things up. Let us know if that solves the problem.
