Remaining Duration

Terri

Can someone explain why MS Project 2007 is giving me a remaining duration of
204.53 days on the Parent when the remaining children tasks, earliest start
is 10/19/2009 and last finish is 12/04/09? The reamaining duration on Parent
should be 32 days (35 business days minus 3 holidays)

Status Date is 10/09/2009

Three tasks 100% complete
All fixed duration
Remaining 4 tasks are all 0% complete, no constraints, and all on same
calendar

Thanks

Hi Terri,

Almost impossible to answer such a specific question without looking
at the actual file. If you'd care to zip and email to me, I'll take
a look and let you know what I find.

email to prjng [at] maine [dot] rr [dot] com.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

I appreciate the offer but it is proprietary information that I can not give
out.

I understand Terri. I'm afraid I don't have any guesses as without
looking at the file, I can only offer guesses.

If you can give us further information, we'll try to help.
