reminder in Outlook with Project Standard 2003

I would like to send a reminder to Microsoft Outlook with the Exchange
Server, based on a task and its due date. For example, if I need to order
windows for a construction project, I would like to have project send a
reminder to Outlook that this task needs to occur. Is this possible withour
implementing Project Server?
