Reminder problems

I continue to have problems with reminders in OL 2003 in one of my profiles,
even after running the cleanreminders switch. A few examples:
A friend's birthday - 2 reminderd: 67 and 15 weeks overdue
Same friend's aniversary - 2 reminders: 24 and 24 weeks overdue (and his
anniversary is not even listed in his contact for this profile)
Another friend's birthday - 3 reminders: all 27 weeks overdue (at least they
are consistent!)
Another friend's birthday - 2 reminders: 73 and 21 weeks overdue.

At present a total of 14 reminders in this profile. Onlyk 1 is for an
upcoming event. Another is 9 days overdue. All others are weeks and weeks
overdue! I am pretty sure I dismissed whatever previous reminders of this
sort had appeared earlier. Can't recall if they are the same reminders.

I synch OL with my Blackberry. Could this be the source of the trouble?

The Blackberry could be the problem, but you should be able to correc
it. Display the calendar in a table viiew like "events" and add th
Reminder field to the column headers with the Field Choose. Group b
that field and examine all the items in the "Reminder: Yes" group. Yo
should see those old events and be able to delete them

Thanks! I'll give it a try. It is manual correction but it seems better
than going to each such reminder event and removing the reminder indication.
But what about recurring reminders, such as somebody's birthday or
anniversary?
