Reminder resets to "none" in recurring app't

When I set up a new recurring app't (Monthly) with a reminder of 3 days, it
will not work, but does show up in the to-do bar. I have other recurring
appointments that do work fine. Any ideas?

Is it an all day event? They don't show in the to-do bar.
