reminders hangs outlook!!

I ran into couple users having this weird outlook problem.
Once the reminders pop up, outlook will hangs!! I am
running office XP on XP pro. I did the scanpst(no error
found) uninstall/reinstall officeXP(didn't help)undated
the office to SP2 and other hotfix (didn't help) launch
outlook with /cleanreminders (still does't work either)
Any Idea?
