Reminders not working

In tasks, when I set a reminder to remind me in, say,
fifteen minutes it doesn't do so--Outlook is open. I've
rebooted with the switch /cleanreminders and that hasn't
helped. The tasks themselves aren't lost ever, just the
reminder function not working. Expired task/reminders do
appear when rebooting, just not at the time they're told
to. I've also run Office repair, and that didn't help.
