Remote access to Outlook 2007 BCM on SBS 2003

The answer to these questions should be simple to find but I have been
searching for hours...

1. Can we access BCM data remotely? How is this done and how is it set up?
How does the remote client user actually access the BCM data?

2. Can the BCM data be stored on our SBS 2003 server? How is this done and
how is it set up?

I know elements of these questions have been dealt with before but nowhere
can I find a simple overview of remote acces which must nowdays be a very
common requirement.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I have read the info and see it is possible to
install a shared BCM SQL database on SBS2003.

Once that's done though how can we access this remotely, from outside the
network. Currently we use OWA but I don't think that supports BCM. Obviously
we could use VPN but our experience has been that it is too slow and
difficult to set up. Is there another way of accessing the shared database?

Regards

Ian

I am currently developing a solution that will enable you to sync your BCM data over the internet without all the networking hassles of using the remote database. When you have time stop by and check it out at http://salesforcebeyond.com
