Remote connection to server 2003 with Outlook

Jim McDonald

Hi:
I have a server 2003 SBS setup which uses exchange server etc. and normal
remote dial-in uses WebOutlook.. What I want to do is to use a remote
outlook (or OE) to dial in, Send/Receive and disconnect (as with a remote
ISP). I do not know the POP3 or SMTP names of the server. Has any kind
person any idea how to attack this???
Thanks Jimbo

This is the nae of your internal server. Make sure you have configured your
server for IMAP access (don't use POP3 as it will remove the messages from
the server). If you dial-in to your network you should also be able to use
an Exchange connection instead.
