Remote Disable Auto Forwarding

I work in an office were we use the auto forward command for supervisors to
receive each others emails. I have one who has retired and we can not get
back on their account to disable the auto forward of messages. Is there a
way to complete this remotely or by some other means. Please advise. Thank
you.

Was it set on the server (on their AD account) or in the email account?
Do you have VPN access to the mail server?
