Have recently "upgraded" to Office 2007, with BCM 2007.
Office has installed and seems to be working. BCM (Disk 2) installation fails.
On checking programs installed, noticed BCM2003 was still on the program
list (thought BCM2007 would auto remove BCM2003?!?). Using "Add/Remove" tried
to remove BCM2003 - error message = "an error occurred while removing the
SQLActive Directory Helper Service" "OK" on selecting, it rolls back and the
removal fails!
Have tried reinstalling 2003 and removing it again, reinstalling 2007 and
removing it again - keeps coming back to this one error. Have seen this
reported on a number of sites and it does not seem to have a solution?!?
