Removal of corrupt copy of onenote trial

I have onenote trial on computer which is corrupt and cant remove it (home
and student version)

What happens when you try to uninstall OneNote from Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs? Are there any error messages that appear?

If you need to force-uninstall the program, the instructions found here
should let you do that. I would only do so as a last resort, though.
