removal of email attachments

Currently OE is removing certain types of email attachments (pdf & exe files)
as they are 'unsafe'. Why is this happening?

New security feature in Outlook Express 6. See Tools | Options | Security
tab and uncheck the second box from the top concerning attachments.

Look under security options (Tools > Options > Security). Uncheck the box
"Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could be potentially a
virus".

That should solve the issue.

NOTE however, that this is NOT a group for OE, but for Outlook!
