Removal of Microsoft Picture Manager from Pictures

I have somehow turned my pictures into Microsoft Picture Manager with all the
editing support etc. I just want the simple picture. How do I get rid of
Picture Manager from my pictures.

Open Picture Manager, click Tools, File types, and UNcheck what you
don't want PM to play with.
