removal of office 2000

The Word portion of office 2000 doesn't funtion . If I remove office 2000
with remove progarams will I lose data in Outlook and Excell.

No. In general, uninstalling Office does not affect any data files. However,
as in all operations of this sort, it is a wise move to make a backup first,
just in case!

No, but then if you dont have backups of data, you will lose it all when
your PC fails
Try Repairing Office, use the office cd or from Help in any component
