Remove all vestiges of Office Standard 2003

After upgrading to 'Office Standard 2007', problems caused Microsoft India
to recommend I uninstall 2007 and reinstall 'Office Standard 2003'. It
resolved the 2007 problems but caused 2003 complications.

If I save all data and work files before entirely uninstalling 'Office
Standard 2003', how can I be sure of removing all vestiges of 2003 and any
previous 2007 files from my machine, before again installing 'Office
Standard 2007'?

Search for folder called Office11 remove that folder that usually keeps all previous settings of past office suites. Depeding on you O.S the folder might appear i believe twice in different locations.
