Remove blank space at start of emails

I am using OL 2002 with Windows XP. All emails I send, or forward, contain a
large blank space (about half a page) at the top. Sometimes recipients think
there is no message at all, so ignore it. How can I reset so as to remove
this blank space?

Are you using word as your editor or Outlook's editor? Do you use
stationery? Is the white space there when you begin typing?
