Remove Box lines around Text Box

T

I'm using MS Office Word 2003. Wanting to make text vertical I used a test
box but I can't get rid of the box drawn around the text. I want the page to
be clean text without boxes. How do I remove the boxes when printing the
text?

Select the TextBox and then use Format>TextBox and change the colour of the
lines.

Double-click the border of the text box to open the Format Text Box dialog.
On the Colors and Lines tab, choose No Line.

Use the "Border" icon. Select the text box, then click the border group and
choose 'no border'

Text boxes don't have borders; they have Lines, which are controlled from
the Format Text Box dialog, not Format | Borders and Shading.
