Remove 'buttons' after Subtotals

I used the Data.Subtotal function to create subtotal.
But I want to remove those untidy buttons on the left side, so that it will
looks like a normal ws.
how?

Tools|Options|View Tab|Uncheck Outline symbols.

But they're really useful!
