Remove close button (the X) from a Form created in Microsoft Word

Is there a way to remove the close button (the X) from a Form created in MS
Word so someone viewing the form can not exit the form prematurely? If this
can't be done, how do you control the close button (the X) on this Form so
when it is pressed, the Word Application exits also?

Hi Matt,

You cannot physically remove the "X" button from the form. However, you can
disbale it. seee the MVP FAQ:

http://word.mvps.org/faqs/userforms/InterceptCloseButton.htm

If the User did press the button you can call your "shut down" routine from
the QueryClose event.
