Remove contacts Outlook 2002

How do you remove addresses, contacts, etc. that appear in the To... section
of a new mail message? I have a user who has names that appear that are
incorrect and need to be removed. These are names that are not in an
address book. I have tried removing the Outlook Address book and then
adding but no success. Thoughts?

When the incorrect name shows up in the auto-complete dropdown highlight it
and hit the Delete key
