remove footer from just a single page of a document

How can I remove the footer from a particular page of a word document but leave
all the rest in place?

Put section breaks on either side of the particular page and then unlink the
headers and footers and then you can delete the footer without it effecting
the other pages

In addition to the instructions from yellowhouse1976, it is obvious that if
you are only editing the Footer you don't need to unlink the Header.
