Remove hidden data

Hi there.

I recently installed Microsoft's "Remove Hidden Data" add-
in. I quickly uninstalled it using the Control Panel's
Add/Remove Programs function because it did not work
properly and my system began acting up. Problem is, it is
still showing up on Word's File menu. Any suggestions for
removing it?

Tools/Customize then make sure that Menu Bar is selected and click Reset
then make sure Normal.dot is selected on the next window and click OK. I
think that should get rid of it provided it has been uninstalled.

You can also remove this menu item by:
1) Right-click a toolbar & click "Customize" (the Customize dialog appears)
2) Click the File menu, then drag the "Remove Hidden Data" entry off the File menu. PLEASE NOTE - be SURE you are dragging the right entry!
3) Click the Close button on the Customize dialog
