Remove icon from email account

Email Client: pop

When I send an email the icon from my computer is sent with my emails. I dont want this is there an option to turn this off.

That shouldn't be the case.
Check the signatures. It is probably in there.

I think the OP is talking about the user icon that appears in the e-mail
header.

This picture can be deleted if you open your own contact card in the contact
list and switch to the Personal tab. Keep in mind that this picture is not
actually sent; it is only shown in your sent messages because Entourage 2008
displays contact list pictures in the e-mail header, just like Apple Mail
does. To disable this behaviour, click on Entourage>Preferences, click on
View and uncheck the option which reads "Show contact picture in message
header".

I see what you mean. I didn't think about that since - as you point out
later in the reply - these do not get sent.
The only way to have a picture like that to be sent automatically is to
have it in the signature...
