Remove template from one page in Powerpoint 2000?

How can you remove the slide design template from a single page of a
presentation in Powerpoint 2000?

Every page has to have a template, even if it is the blank template.
Unfortunately, PowerPoint 2000 only allows one template per presentation. It
really depends on what you need, but see if the info at

You can also create a blank template and apply it to the slide:

However, as Sonia said you'll have to apply it to the whole presentation
since multiple templates are only available in PowerPoint 2002 and 2003.
Having said that, PowerPoint 2000 has no problem displaying multiple
templates applied in PowerPoint 2002 and 2003.
