I wish to remove the favorite folder so it can not be seen and gain that
space for all mail folders.

I don't think you can remove it just minimize its size by removing all
favorite folders

Switch to a Navigation Pane view that doesn't include them.

This takes away the favorite folder, but also all of my personal folders. I
want to just remove the favorite folder.
But thanks Brian.

It certainly doesn't. The Folder List view will show you every folder that
exists in Outlook.

Then either I am doing something wrong or have another setting
inappropriately set.
When I go to 'View' an click on Navigation Pane Alt F1 all of my folders are
removed from the screen as well as the 'Favorites Folder'. I had hoped to
just remove the 'Favorites Folder' and still be able to see my 'All Mail
Folders'.
Could it be the version of Outlook I am using?

The Mail view that includes "All Mail Folders" also includes the "Favorite
Folders" and there's nothing you can do about that. If you don't want to
see the "Favorite Folders", then you have to use a view that doesn't contain
it, like the "Folder List" view. You'll see more than just mail folders in
that view, however. You can, if you like, create shortcuts to just the
folders you want to see and then use the Shortcuts view.
