remove underline on navigation links only

Want to remove the underline on the navigation bar text
links in left shared border, but not the links on the
pages.

How is it done?

(I know how to remove it for the entire page already.)

Remove them from the entire page, then select the link you want to have
underlined, and assign a underline to it.
