After removing a profile and e-mail account from Microsoft Outlook 2003, I am
receiving the message "1 unread mail message. (MY_ACCOUNT) has 1 e-mail
message for (e-mail address of previous user). However, even on the server,
this person has no current e-mails in their inbox, let alone any unread
emails. Please note that before deleting the profile etc. I forwarded emails
from their inbox back to their server e-mail address. Have gone behind the
scenes and deleted files in their name such as the outlook#.ost file.
