Is it possible in Excel 97 to remove the calculation
formula and leave the result in the cell?

Thanks

Hi Alan!

Use:
Copy > Paste Special > Values > OK

You'll find in toolbars customizing their is a button that you can
pull up to your toolbar that allows you to copy > paste values with
just two clicks.

How is that done? The furthest I've gotten is to place the paste special
button on my toolbar..

Hi Dave!

It's the Past Values icon you need (It looks like a clip board)

Select the cell with the formula in it
Click the Copy icon
Click the Paste Values icon

You'll find the Paste Values icon in the Edit category of the
customize dialog.
