removing an anchor

K

Kay

I have a Word document with three graphics that were anchored in the original. I need to reformat into a two-column format. Two graphics allowed me to uncheck the "Lock anchor" box so that I was able to reposition them, but the third will not allow me to do unlock the anchor, which still shows up in the middle of the page.

What I anticipated as a 15-minute job is taking me way too much time.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

By the way, my OS is Windows 2000.

Thanks,
Kay

You can use Edit/Cut to take the graphic out of the document. Then
click in the paragraph to which you wan the graphic anchored and
Edit/Paste. Note that an anchor lock will not prevent you from
*moving* the graphic on the page.
