Removing e-mail capability from Office 2003

I recently installed Office 2003. Each time I open the MS Office icon, I can
see there are new e-mail messages, however, when I click to open a message,
the body of the message is never visible. I was wondering if I could
ELIMINATE receiving e-mail messages in Office 2003 by REMOVING my e-mail
address in the E-Mail accounts section of Office 2003. Would there be any
negative affect on any of the Office 2003 programs. I use a high speed cable
ISP for my e-mails and can retrive entire messages through them.

The Email Accounts are contained within Outlook, not Office
The icon you click is for Outlook, not Office
You can certainly remove the accounts, and use whatever email client you
wish.

When you say Outlook, I presume you mean Outloook Express. Correct? If yes,
then I will try that even though when I had initially installed Office 2003,
I could not access Outlook Express. Appreciate one last response. Thanks
again.

Outlook is part of Office, Outlook Express is not.

You need to work out which email app you are using Outlook and Outlook
Express are completely different apps.
Outlook is part of Office, Express is not
