removing green triangle in cell

Could someone please remind me how to turn off the little green triangle that
appears in the top left corner of cell? Thanks.

tools>options>error checking>clear whatever error is causing the problem

Better yet........disable the bloody things!!

Uncheck "enable error checking"

Actually, I like them. They let me know when something that appears to be a
number is really text.
