removing Holidays

I'm using Outlook 2007 (under Vista Home Premium, SP1) and just added a set
of religious holidays. (Tools \ Options \ Preferences \ Calendar \ Calendar
Options \ Add Holidays)

I now decided to remove them but do not see a check mark for me to deselect.
How do I go about this? Do I have to remove them 'manually'?

Thanks, Dave Horne

Also, I just noticed that the new Holidays I added do not appear in 2013.
Are there predetermined lengths that Holidays display? (Birthdays that I
have programmed in as a yearly occurrence do appear as far as I can scroll
into the future.)

I just thought this odd behavior for Holidays. Thanks, Dave Horne

Arrange the view by categories

View | Current View | By Category

Then highlight all appointments you want to delete and press the del-key
on your keyboard.

Christian, thanks for the reply. I came to the same conclusion which is to
manually remove the entries. Too bad I can't remove them as easily as I
added them.

Should I start a new thread for the question I posed in my second post here?

Thanks, Dave Horne

Sure you can. After arranging By Category, just select the entire Holiday
category and delete them all at once.

The Holday file that comes tihe Outlook contains only six years worth of
holidays, with none of them being recurring. I modified all my holidays for
which there is an actual recurrence pattern (Christmas, New Year, Ground Hog
Day, Columbus Day (actual), Thanksgiving, Martin Luther King Day, etc.) so
they had no end date.

Brian, thanks for clearing that up for me. Dave Horne
