Removing HTML in incoming emails

Am I missing something here, or is there no way to remove
the HTML code on incoming emails in Outlook 2002? I've
searched the knowledge base, I've looked in the
newsgroups, and I've gone through EVERY option in
Outlook. There are a ton of options tho so I feel I'm
missing one. Please respond.
