Removing Office Installation

I'm trying to remove a copy of Office 2000 SR-1 Premium from my XP machine.
The PC came preloaded with a 60 day trial of Office 2003 (Student edition)
which from memory I believe I activated after installing Office 2000.

I've removed Office 2003 okay - but I can not remove the Office 2000 version
as it is looking for a "sr1pat" file that it can not find (even if I insert
the original installation CD)

Any recommendations would be gratefully received.

Hi, Sibby. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=295823 "You receive the
'This patch package could not be opened' errror message in Office 2003, in
Office XP, or in Office 2000". Use the cleanup utility to remove Windows
Installer entries related to Office 2000, reboot, and then try to uninstall.
