Removing old files

i have upgraded for FP2003 and publish from my local computer to a server
using FP extensions. When I delete or rename a file in FP a publish (changed
pages only) does not remove it from the server. In my previous version of FP
I was shown an option box saying something like "the following files exist
on the server but not on your computer - do you want to delete them?" I no
longer am presented with that option and have to delete them manually. Have
I missed an option somewhere?

You need to do a complete publish anytime you upgrade or re-install a fresh copy of FP prior to
using the Change Pages Only option.

I have done that, but even pages I rename under my new FP leave the old file
on the server

Then you need to open the live site and publish it back to your local, then delete or rename your
files, then re-publish using the Change Page Only option.

Open your site "live". Delete the unwanted files, recalculate, then syncronize with your local machine.
