Removing the Disable/Enable Macros screen?

Alan,

You can't disable the macro warning for a document. If you could, then any
self-respecting virus would do exactly that.

That's kinda what I thought.

Another quick question then... is it possible to change the butto
default onto the enable macro option?

If you want to remove the disabel / enable macros screen.

You can -

1) Change security settings in excel to low. Tools /
Macro / Security / Low

or better / safer ...

2) Digitally sign the macro(s) so that it is from a
trusted source and leave security settings (above) at
High or Medium.

That's what I use.

I think this only happens in later XL2002 onwards but I may be wrong. If
you're using this version Tools > Macro's and the explanation is there,
