Removing the "Publish assignment" icon from the Indicator column?

I published Task information and now I have an e-mail like Icon on every cell
of the Indicator column on the Gant Chart. Some of the people are no-longer
active on the project and have not responded. How can I get rid of that
stupid little icon?
