Removing Toolbar from Appearing Each Time Word Starts

S

Skuba

I installed Adobe Acrobat and it automatically created a toolbar that appears
each time I start the application. I want to be able to remove it from the
active toolbars. Generally, I would like to know how to customize or change
the default manner in which toolbars appear or not in Word and Outlook.

I cannot comment on Outlook's toolbars, but the Word toolbar customisations
are stored in templates (usually normal.dot) but some templates through poor
coding - like Acrobat's - will not let you exercise any control over them
directly. In this instance, see
