Removing Trial Software

I recently bought a computer that had a 60 use trial version of the MS Office
software. I purchased the latest and greatest version and installed it. Now
when I try to open the version I installed, it trys to open both of them and
gives me an error message when I tell it to quit trying to install the
"Trial" versions.

How can I remove the trial software so that it only trys to run the version
I personnaly installed?

Thanks

You should have uninstalled the 2003 trial version (Start | Control
Panel | Add or Remove Programs) before you installed your 2007 purchased
version. You can try uninstalling the 2003 trial version, and if
necessary, run Office Diagnostics in the 2007 purchased version to
repair any missing components. You might have to uninstall 2003,
uninstall 2007, and then reinstall 2007.

Can I uninstall the 2003 version without the software? It came installed on
the computer and as far as I know the only disks I have are for recovery.

Thanks - sorry about double posting but I posted in Word then saw the Office
section and thought it would be better addressed there.

You should be able to uninstall the 2003 trial without the CD. If you
can't, write back and I will scrounge around for the manual uninstall
instructions.

I have not been able to get it off. I thought I had but the last time I
tried to open MS PowerPoint it tried to open up the trial and not the one I
had installed.

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Like the other person same issue with trail software can't uninstall it any
way possible, add/remove programs, safemode, anything how do I get it off my
machine because it's freezing up programs and creating messages to send to
microsoft when outlook 2000 is running.
