removing vti-bin etc.

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to get rid of non-essential folders/files like
vti-bin on our production system?

On our development system Frontpage is being used, which creates these
folders/files, but we do not need them on our production system.
Is there a script (Windows/Linux) somewhere which can do a recursive
cleanup and remove folders like vti-bin?

Regards,
Evert

We are (unfortunately) using a Windows environment, both for development
& production.

Does a search/remove for '_vti*' cover all frontpage extensions files?
Or are there other files I should search for as well?

_vti* gives me (for each of our sites):
* a folder called _vti_log
* a file called _vti_inf.html
* several folders called _vti_cnf

Regards,
Evert
