rename series (in legend)

I have made some graphs in excell with five different lines of data. In the legend, all it states is "series 1, series 2" etc. I want to change the name of "series 1" to "MW-1". What do I do?

One way is to select the chart, and then select the series. You will see the
series formula in the formula bar. Replace the Series 1, etc. with what ever
you want to name the series.

With the chart selected you should be able to go to the Toolbox->Formatting
Palette->Chart Data pane->Edit... button and then edit the name for any
series you'd like.
