Renaming a project field to appear in Project Server

We are using Project server and are trying to use Text1 as a field that we
can display information on the project summary line for a project. When we
rename the field in the Enterprise Global the correct field name appears when
you open Microsoft Project, but the field name in Project Server is still
Text1. Is there a way to change this as well?

You must use Enterprise custom fields and outline codes if you want to
control them through the Enterprise Global and through Project Web Access
Views. You must use an Enterprise Project field to display in views in the
Project Center and you must use task-level fields in the drill-down views
reached by selecting projects from the Project Center.

I understand this and have now tried using one of these fields. However
when we then have this field in the Global template view, the result from a
macro we are running, which we put on the Project Summary "0" line then
populates each and every task. Using Enterprise Task1 would be an option but
it is not a choice in Web Access under the Project Center. Any of the
Enterprise Fields that are available on Web Access under the Project Center
seem to yield the same result. It looks like there is no way to have this
not cause confusion is to not have the field appear in the template itself in
Project but have it display in Web Access in the Project Center.
