Renaminga resource in Project Server 2002 shows sduplicate availab

Let us say we have a resource Peanut Butter and the resource name got changed
to Peanut Jelly. If I pick Peanut Jelly from Resource Center and click on
View Availability. It shows two resources. Peanut Butter and Peanut Jelly.
Although, it is the same person.

Is there a best practice for naming in Project Server 2002 SP1?

Please advise.

I found the solution. Need to open the pojects to which resource is assigned.
Publish resource assignments without overwriting actuals. This will remove
duplicate resource from "View Availability" chart.
