Repairing a file

Hello,everybody.I need your help. I use Microsoft Office Word 2007.And
i have a problem with a file.I can not open it.When i wanna open it
says something like this:

Word was unable to read this document. It may be corrupt.
Try one or more of following:
*Open and Repair the file
*Open with the text Recovery converter
( D:/COPYA\...\Teza de licenta.doc).
Please help me how to repair it. Thank you for your time.

To have Word repair a file: Use the Open dialog box to locate the file.
Select it. Then click the arrow on the Open button, and choose Open and
Repair.

Hi,Stefan. I am a beginer of Word office 2007, and i don,t know how to
find Open dialog box to open the file.Can you explain me,please?
Of,course if it doesn,t disturb you.Thanks.

Click the "Office button" in the upper left corner of Word.
