Repeated errors "not connected" even when on-line

I installed BCM on Outlook 2003. I now get strings of error windows stating:
"Business Contact Manager for outlook could not complete your last action,
please try again." These errors windows repeat, one after the other, even
when I'm not atemping any actions. My computer is also on network that is
always on-line. I'll end up with a string of 10 or 15 windows that I must
click OK to each when I return to outlook. What can I do to correct this
problem?
