Repeated login prompts from server when FP publishing

I am using FP2003 on WinXP. I was able to publish to my server (IIS w/ SE)
in the past few days. Due to a shared-borders-not-showing-up problem, I
uninstalled and reinstalled the IIS server to clean up all old files. I have
checked all the settings on the IIS server to be the same as the original
installation.

But since the reinstall, FP cannot publish to the server (using HTTP). I
get a login prompt from the server. The userid is automatically filled in as
myhost.mydomain.com/ADMINID and when I enter the admin password, I keep
getting repeated prompts to log in. I changed the userid to just ADMINID and
still doesn't work.

Any clues about what might be wrong?

While I am at it, let me ask another question. I have read several posts by
Stefan about how to solve the shared-border-not-showing-up problem. How can
I identify where the unmatched closing tags might be in my pages? I have
looked at my HTML and CSS code, but cannot identify any unmatched tags. Is
there a parser that can highlight any HTML/CSS errors? FP shows all the
right colors in code view.

Thanks for any help you can give me...

Best wishes,
