I'm having a bit of a problem with an InfoPath 2007 form with regards
repeating sections containing Lists with dynamic Options.
The drop down list is configured to retrieve it's results from a Web Service
which has an input parameter so the user can run a search to filter the
results. The filter has been added to the form through the queryFields and
the Secondary Data Source.
At the root level of the Data Source, This all works fine, however using the
same method within Repeating Sections and Tables causes an issue as the
instance of the Secondary Data Source is shared between all of the sub
records, where a search on 1 instance updates the available options on all
the other instances.
I've tried mimicking the same UI through using a field within the repeating
section to store the filter, then using rules on a button to pass through
the value to the querFields however it's still causing all of the Lists to
share the same values.
Is there a way using InfoPath (specifically when in Browser Compatibility
Mode) to some how configure the Data Connections to stop this from
happening.
