I have a problem...
I've created a repeating table and bound it to a group in the DataSource...
Then I've created an XML document where that Group's XML node was omitted...
When I open the form the repeating table that's bound to that group is
empty... perfect! Just what I want!!!
Here's the problem... When I add a new element to the data source (anywhere
with the data source)... then reopen the exact same XML file (with the
repeating node omitted)... The repeating table creates an empty node in that
repeating group for me! If I delete the node, then it continues creating the
a new empty node (which is not what I want)... When I restore the old
Template.xsn file from yesterday's backup... and re-open my created XML file
then the repeating table is empty (which is what I want).
So what I'd like to accomplish is: opening an XML file where the the
repeating group is completely empty and does not only creates a new node when
the user selects "insert new xyz"... Does anyone no how to do this
reliably??? Because my current approach seems to have exposed a bug in
InfoPath. HELP!!!???
